This Is One Trip You Don’t Want to Miss
Jesus is coming!
The Lord keeps all of His promises. This earth is not our forever home. Our loving Father has prepared a place for us in heaven. In John chapter 14:1-3 it says:
“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.”
When I think about how much He loves us and what have I done in preparation for this journey, I stopped to think – am I ready? With any other journey I have taken, what did I do to prepare? For a physical trip I planned: 1. How am I going to get there? 2. Where am I going to stay? 3. What am I going to do when I get there? 4. What’s around the area to see and is it safe? 5. Do I have enough money saved up? 6. Food, clothing, meds, etc. – all the way down to an emergency plan, what to do, and saying my goodbyes. I checked with the top reporters to make sure it’s safe where I am going and a safe time to travel. That is how I could do the best I could to be prepared.
On my spiritual trip journey, how did I prepare? What have I done to ensure a safe trip? What did the Lord say I needed to get there? Did I follow the Word of God, the instructions? Did I pay attention to details? Did I do all I could do to tell my loved ones and friends that I’m prepared and ready, and how they should prepare also for their journey – and not just any journey, this is a final destination trip – to make sure they and I are safe?
This was my thought today, and I wanted to share it because we invest so much time in everything else we do to make sure it’s good, it’s safe, and that I will make it with success.
Here is what I know: it’s at any time, in the twinkling of an eye. Wow, that’s just barely a blink! Think about that. We are busy warning and updating our loved ones of so much happening in this world. How much time are we taking to tell them of the one thing that will matter the most no matter what happens? A wise woman of God told me once, where your focus is, is where your heart is. Let that sink in!
Let’s all be Kingdom Spreaders – the Lord is coming and this is one trip we don’t want to miss!
Love ya all,
Blessings,
